About me
My Path towards Yoga
I have devoted my life to dance, movement, teaching, and the arts, exploring our connection to the earth and to our true essence. My choreographic work has always been a reflection of this ongoing journey. Four decades as a professional dancer, choreographer, and movement educator (compagnie anne-sophie fenner) naturally inform my path as a yoga teacher. Through yoga, I continue to express my commitment to aligning the heartbeat with the rhythm of the universe.
I fell in love with yoga late in life and completed the 300-hour Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training following an immersion with the founders of the method, Sharon Gannon and David Life. Prior to that, I completed a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. Further studies in Restorative Yoga and Alignment Yoga at Chris Chavez Yoga School continue to support and deepen my foundation. My longtime mentor, Karl Straub, has deeply influenced my teaching. Our ongoing exchange continues to nourish and inspire my journey as both teacher and student.

Dynamic and Soulful
My classes are dynamic, soulful, and challenging, while always balancing strength with deep relaxation. Inspired by decades of experience in dance, improvisation, and relaxation practices, they invite students to explore and express their own unique path.
Life is Rhythm
Rhythm lies at the heart of my teaching, which is why I follow the Jivamukti Yoga method – a yoga practice that unites breath and asana in a natural, conscious flow. Having spent a lifetime working with movement and sound, I experience rhythm as a pathway to presence, connection, and joy.
Love as Connection
I am certain that LOVE is the thread that connects all. Rooted in the heartbeat, breath, and expression, I experience yoga as a natural continuation of my lifelong exploration of love through both dance and my spiritual path.
A Personal Journey
Just as we all have unique bodies, talents, and qualities, yoga is a deeply personal journey. There is no single path or destination – only the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow through practice.
Holding Space for Growth
My role is to guide you through the practice with care, allowing you to explore body, mind, and spirit at your own pace. I honor each individual path and strive to create a space where you feel supported, empowered, and free to grow. There is no competition – only community, awareness, selfreflection and mutual respect.
A Sanctuary of Practice
Each class becomes a sanctuary where breath-lead movement invites presence, kindness, and healing. Music is an essential part of the practice, enhancing and uplifting the flow. Meditation and pranayama deepen our capacity for stillness, self-awareness, and compassion.
Feeling Whole
I teach and practice Jivamukti Yoga because it inspires me to approach yoga in a holistic and integrated way. Rooted in the steady rhythm of breath and movement, supported by sound, silence, and the underlying spiritual teachings the practice deepens our sense of connection to ourselves, to others, and to life itself – and we feel whole.
“Each person has their own rhythm and unique way of practicing Yoga.”
