Bhagavad-Gītā 4:20

In its most basic form karma is the universal moral law of cause and effect, every action has a consequence. Karma: Action. Effect. Consequence This is the Focus of the Month at Jivamukti
What does it mean to me? What thoughts come up? Here I go with my monthly free-flow-thought‘:
Let it go – where?
Let it go so it can fly up in the air? Let it go, so I forget?
Let it go, so I can become free? Let it go, so I can sleep?
Let WHAT go?
Expectations? Ideas? Sorrows? Judgment? Let it ALL go?
How about „BE with it“?
Let it be. Let it be. Let it be.
Letting myself be who I am. Letting everyone be, who they are, what they are….
Am I running away from the consequences of my actions? Do I have to investigate? Do the actions of the world around me have anything to do with me? With my actions? WHAT are my actions? WHO is doing the actions? When I am completely focused, which is when I meditate, when I am fully immersed in my yoga practice, when I paint, when I dance, when I choreograph … to sum it up: when I am deeply immersed in not just doing the things but BEING what I am DOING… I am in a state of mediation. When I perform actions in this state , they are aligned with the divine – or I could say- with my essence – my true nature . Then there is no difference between the action and the person (me) who is doing the action nor the outcome of the action. It is all the same. I am my actions. My actions are me.
What does it say in this Sloka of the Bhagavad-Gītā (sloka = a couplet of Sanskrit verse) : „One who has let go of the fruits of their actions – is content and free of dependency, knowing it is not they who act, even when performing actions“.
I invite you to think and dream about this one….. I encourage you to NOT think logically- but let your heart „think“. Allow yourself to be confused and feel like you are in the middle of a riddle….
LET GO. LET IT BE. BE IT. LOOSE IT. FORGET IT. REMEMBER IT. LIVE IT. BE YOU. THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE
